I think this makes good sense. In general feels like the My Lists level could use a couple tweaks like this to have more symmetrical function with lists. (And that in my mind fits Clear’s sandbox design principles.) Someone had suggested being able to set a reminder for a List for example.

This has probably already been suggested, but it would be great to have a 2x2/small widget that displays the icon artwork, some of the icons would be great to see at a larger size. Potentially the widget could let you choose an icon from what you have unlocked, or have an option to randomly cycle through all unlocked icons showing a new one each day.

Should be coming in a relatively early update. (Icon dock widgets.) Not random, but so you can set up various icons as shortcuts into specific lists etc.

What I would really love is a 4x1 widget that only displays the Title of a specific list, and possibly the amount of items on that list.
This Widget could be used as a Header for groups of apps (Financial, Streaming, Shopping, Games, etc). Tapping the Widget/Header would open Clear and let you add notes related to those apps.
I think it could be very useful, and I would put one or two on every one of my homescreens.

That’s an interesting angle of thought. Though I don’t think iOS currently offers that size! (I think we are using the 3 sizes they offer.)
That’s too bad about the sizes… I guess a 2x2 could also work.

A quick suggestion to enable a simple lock screen widget that would allow user to tap the widget and jump into a specific list setup in the widget setting from the lock screen and have it ready to enter an item to that list.
right now I use the Apple Shortcuts lock screen widget as a workaround but it only opens the clear app to last used list (I set up a shortcut to open Clear in the Shortcuts app)
Would be cool to have a native Clear widget for the lockscreen though.

would it be possible for lists that have a custom font to show their title as that custom font in the My Lists screen? or have it as a toggle?

I’m once again asking if you can implement SF Pro Rounded Bold/Black font because it looks gorgeous
Or is there a hack in iOS to set bold text only for specific apps, not all through the system?
We might experiment with this at some point, I’ve been curious for a while about how it would feel with the color themes in a similar way. If it’s a total clown show we may back off, but if there are beautiful setups it will be fun.
I feel like the individual rows being colored to the list’s themes would get ugly, fast, but the fonts can strike a balance between clown show and unique look.

Didn’t have the bandwidth earlier to actually check into it, but yes just verified the color value was off on that one, will fix in 2.1.2.
Thanks. One more to pass along, it seems like the sound for shaking to undo a pull to clear is considerably louder than the sound for pull to clear. This is on Dopamine+, Normal volume.

Wait, what? I thought shake-to-undo was removed from the app? It never works for me. Did I miss a setting somewhere?
It’s there but only hooked up currently to totally destructive actions! (Deleting items, deleting lists, pulling to clear away checked off tasks.)

(It would make sense to have undo work more thoroughly, but because of Clear’s custom UI we don’t get it ‘for free’ like a more standard app might. Something we could potentially polish in the future but isn’t particularly low hanging.)
