I just saw the shop folders, not sure if it’ll stay or just for testing but this is awesome. I’ve been asking for something like that so it’s great to see a catalogue of sorts, albeit for the top stuff!

Yep this is new in the 2.1.5, experimenting with them for this event weekend! And I am planning to continue iterating on them afterwards. Hoping it improves the experience especially for first time / on the fence customers.
I will also be trying a first shop in-app popup tomorrow for the event. It will highlight the freebies, and show an icon for one of them, similar to a reward to claim popup.
I’m curious and of course a little anxious on the response. Basically expecting some people to take it as a nag.
There is some reasonable context here so hopefully it doesn’t kick a hornet’s nest, and most people find the freebies delightful. (And a nice intro to the shop for decent chunk who haven’t visited the shop even once yet, and are probably unaware of free fonts etc.) But I guess we’ll see how it goes and can discuss it as a community on how everyone feels about it for the future.
How long I waited for this event in the store, and in the end I waited. Thank you for the free collectibles, it’s very valuable. I really liked the new iMarimbas sound, now it’s my favorite. I congratulate all of us on the first event in the store.

Yes I hope everyone picks up iMarimbas and gives it a try, one of my favorite new sound sets/themes from Josh. (Inspired by iPhone’s classic marimba ringtones and sounds.) And if this event concludes reasonably successfully, it will be a good model iterate on and make more fun for future holidays and collabs.

Based on the number of cha-chings I’m hearing, it’s going really well
There is a small bug that if you go into one of the shop subsections and exit back into the main shop, the music stops

Ah good catch, thank you! Lol the freebies are counting as cha-chings but the sales are also going well 
Tweet and project update mailing going out should also help, though I actually almost wonder if I should hold on the mailing until tomorrow when the shop is even more stacked. Thinking I’ll just keep adding onto it Saturday/Sunday (as in keep previous day, maybe via sublist) for a simple way to make the final day feel kind of ridiculous/spectacular.
