Oh no! I adore Clear—been waiting for many years for this truly great-looking update— but really need some kind of sync on my Mac.
If a Mac version isn’t in the cards, I hope Phill will consider the option of allowing downloads of the iOS app on Apple Silicon Macs.
How can i make any of these links work?
Copying them into the address bar in Safari on my phone worked, it prompted me to open the link in Clear. Or if you have that post open in Safari you can highlight the link and select “open”.
Your reply was well-worded: grand child. I routinely use my MacBook for initial entry, and my iPhone for remote, mobile, on-sight completion of tasks or lists. In my way of thinking, it’s all one app, and simultaneously accessible by each device, and thus, reasonably expected to be available all at once. However, I do recognize, though, that each platform is a different animal, and not necessarily able to be completed at the same time as the other.

I shared Clear with someone via the link in my app. Do I get a reward, or do they get a gift? So confused about the wording in the app.

Both! What you’ll get is what you see in the Gift Clear list (one by one based on how many people redeem your link.) Your friend will unlock some starting themes and such from the random loot pool immediately to get started with.
Interesting. Nothing populated for me. Do they have to be a new user of Clear altogether, or does it work if they previously had clear 1 and just updated/downloaded Clear 2?

I have a few pointers.
Dusk theme and sunset theme are the same. Same colors
I use Clear for years on both iPhone and Mac. Sync is really important to me.
I updated to the new Clear on the iPhone. This broke the sync on Mac. I made some changes on the iPhone that do not propagate to the Mac app, but it also doesn’t show me any errors. It seems the new version might be storing the data under a separate name in iCloud (just guessing)?
Can I downgrade to the old version so that the sync works for me?
I like the update on the iPhone but the sync is > new features for me…
Congratulations on release. There is a wee bug where if you click on an icon (in reward and paid) it gives it to you until you click on the next one. This remains in place even if you close down the app.
Same situation as me. I had to uninstall the apps on the macs to avoid further confusion. I preferred to keep everything on the new version 2 which unfortunately does not work with Mac apps.

Two things

2: I clicked on my own share-as-a-gift link — the app said I received something called “Emerald City“, but it’s not showing up anywhere. That’s fine, as I don’t expect to be able to give myself a welcome gift, but I do wonder if that has now been removed from the loot pool for me.
I did, however, receive credit for someone using my link, even though that someone was me.
