I have a lot of important data stored in Clear and I really need help recovering it without losing anything.
Clear 2.7.10 was working normally until September 13, 2026. At around midnight, while I was organizing my lists, Clear suddenly crashed.
Since then, every time I launch Clear, it stays open for about 2–6 seconds and then crashes. Restarting my iPhone did not resolve the problem.
iPhone Storage currently shows:
Clear app: 166.9 MB
Documents & Data: 244.7 MB
My last successful iPhone iCloud backup was September 13 at 9:47 AM, when Clear was still working normally.
I tried clearx://export-logs. It displayed an “Uh-Oh – Clear just encountered an unexpected error” message. I selected “Send Anonymous Report,” but Clear immediately crashed.
I also tried clearx://export-data. It successfully generates “Clear User Data – 118 KB” and displays the iOS share sheet. However, when I select either “Save to Files” or “Mail,” the screen disappears and Clear crashes, so I cannot save the exported file.
I have NOT deleted, offloaded, or reinstalled Clear because I am very concerned about losing my data.
Could you please tell me the safest way to recover my data without deleting the existing local data? If Clear has an iCloud backup from before the crash, could you also tell me how to safely restore that backup?

Hi there - I’ve forum message’d you an updated export-logs link to try along with a link to restore from available backups. Hopefully the updated logs are able to be sent, but if you are continuing to experience crashes when trying the link please let us know!
If you confirm an available backup from recently enough, you may want to try reinstalling the Clear client to see if that refreshes things, after which you can use the restore backup link.
Once we’re able to collect logs from you we’ll be able to look into the cause of the issue as well.

Before I reinstall Clear or use clearx://restore-icloud-backup, I would like to make sure I don’t lose my current local data.

Could you please confirm:
When you say “reinstalling the Clear client,” do you mean deleting the app and reinstalling it? If so, will this delete my current 244.7 MB of local Documents & Data?
Does clearx://restore-icloud-backup overwrite the current local Clear data, or does it merge the backup with the existing local data?
I would like to preserve the current local data if at all possible, especially the changes made after the 9:47 AM backup.
