Honestly, this icon is one of my favorites so far just for aesthetics and will definitely buy it when it drops.
Idea Icon Banana 
I think it will be in perfect harmony with the food themes, namely the banana theme.
That’s what it looks like in the dock.
This is delicious and super cute too, I always have a bias for these icons that fill their shape nicely like this. And I’m hungry right now… makes me wish I had a banana on hand for a quick breakfast.

Just in case it’s useful – a Cryptic/British style crossword grid, which has more black squares and allows unchecked “1-letter words” (but still no 2-letter words), might provide more design options to make the icon read well without breaking any crossword rules that might irk the biggest potential fans of the icon. Sorry to belabor the topic!

Great. David’s vision of the icon is much cooler, I’m glad I gave an idea for reflection, and David masterfully brought it to life. Respect for David.
He is a monster. I’ve been joking that he singlehandedly is the Icon Factory on this project. (Where he used to work many years ago.)
But also that idea was genuinely inspired! The seeds really pushed it over the top, and it’s one of my favorite clever/witty icon premises in the entire collection now. Thank you for coming up with that and sharing.
I’m going to look into if we can tag this something like “Idea by @alx_ras”, just not super sure how that would possibly conflict with store pricing display etc.
This is also my favorite icon, I can’t wait to buy it at the store. Wow, it’s very nice to hear it, but I understand that the display in the store will interfere, and conflict with the price. And even if there are difficulties with this, and in the end nothing will work out, it’s okay. Clear is always in my heart, and I am infinitely glad that I brought at least some idea to my favorite application.
