Hello - since 2.5.4 I’m getting the Welcome to Clear Pro thank you message each time I go into the app. Nice to be appreciated, but not every time ![]()
Same thing is happening after updating
Same here. Every start up of the app.
Thank you all for the reports! I’m going to pause the rollout and we should be submitting a hot fix update later today, seems like a straightforward fix.
Yay! I just became a Legacy Pro Member. Updated Clear app from the App Store. Confirming version 2.5.5 is installed. Confirming correct sync to iCloud, although it gave me a little scare when the iPhone said 100% but the lists didn’t appear on Safari, only the Archive … but it solved itself after a couple more minutes. Apple Watch however needed a restart and a Clear reinstall and seems to be stuck on the “Please open the iPhone app to sync with Clear Watch” screen. Surprisingly the keyboard works. Meaning that if I do a long press on the Watch, the keyboard appears and I can enter text and/or emoji; hitting ‘done’ the shows the entered text as a new list in ‘My Lists’. Also the “Apple Watch Keyboard” notofication is shown on the iPhone and connects when tapped.
And … no styling on the web app?
2.5.5 should be available now on the App Store (for manual update). Let me know if it if fixes this popup issue!
@Petra we’ll look into improving that first time sync experience, feels like we have it in a relatively solid place now but the UX feedback could use improvements. Styling in web app is sometime in the roadmap. (In general handling per item features.)
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. What about my persisting Apple Watch (s7) issue?
Any thoughts on that?
Thank you for the report.
Could you please send us the app logs using clearx://export-logs to support@impending.com so that we can identify the exact cause?
Hi Harshad,
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I can’t send the logs.
After hitting the link, on iPhone I get this message:
Uh-Oh
Clear just encountered an unexpected error.
Support may be able to help, please send us a report!
And on mac I get:
There is no application set to open the URL clearx://export-logs.
Not sure what to do next.
Hi @Petra , the error message dialog on the iPhone app is expected as the URL triggers it for aggregating logs.
On that dialog, the button “Send Anonymous Report” can be used to share the logs. Below is a screenshot for reference.
Thank you.
I’m not paying $25-30 a year for a checklist I’ve been using for 15 years, especially since the update seems to have affected basic features. Any plans for a one-and-done payment instead of of subscription?
I got confused, thought there was an error with the link or something. Report sent, thank you
