Since the most recent release my Clear has returned to telling me to upgrade to Pro (even though I have it as a legacy user). I get a banner at the top periodically and even after the hitting restore button I still get the message. It had been fixed in the last release after the initial problems. Any ideas?
It has been fixed. Make sure you have version 2.5.1 or greater.
The issue has returned for me in 2.5.2 in the last 24h.
The other solution the team replied to me was to restore purchases in the App. You could try this.
I tried that first - didn’t solve either. This is why I posted here ![]()
Hi @Organic, can I ask when you head to the Clear Pro menu - does it appear that you have access to your Pro features when the banner pops up, or are you also unable to use Pro features?
If you could you also check your current subscriptions in your App Store profile to confirm a Clear Pro sub is active that would be great.
@ben When in Clear it presents that I do not have the subscription. For instance if I go into the iCloud menu it tells me I need to be a subscriber to use. When I go back into Clear Pro menu it thanks me for being a legacy user and ask me to tap to send a message to request activation. If I click on restore it assigns Pro back to me and the Pro features become enabled - until next time I go back in and then have to repeat the process. Within Apple Apps subscription it shows (and always has done) that I am subscribed until 24 Feb 2026.
Understood, odd that the issue reoccured - as @jmellone pointed out 2.5.1 and subsequently 2.5.2 seems to have addressed this for other users. I’m going to forum DM you a link to get more information here if you could check there!
