I think an initially higher chance that lowers each time you unlock something, which resets each day, would be nice. Maybe a truncated exponential backoff.
Rewards frequent/daily use, with less reward for farming the getting started list. Might feel more fair because you’re more likely to get something sooner and there’s less chance of a long unlucky streak (whether you’re actually being productive or farming).
For what it’s worth I hate that idea haha I loved being able to unlock everything in one day. If you’re willing to grind the RNG you should be able to, imho, and if you’re not then the rewards feel appropriately paced e.g. you’re getting awards proportional to your activity per day
