I am a long time user that is on Clear 2.3. I have a to-do list in which anything I do takes for ever to register what I have typed. I understand there was a beta at one point to try and resolve the issue but that TestFlight is no longer available. I understand I need to delete all the completed tasks. Is there any way to do this as a group? Doing it one by one is tedious. I was going to take screenshots of the existing tasks so I could create a new list with just them but the program crashes after every screenshot which is painful.
If I’m understanding you right, to clear all of your completed tasks at once you just scroll all the way to the bottom then continue to pull up until “Pull to Clear!” starts to shake, then release.
If you have a bunch of checked off tasks pulling to clear should do the trick. What device are you running it on @drews10186 ?
I have the same issue. Have been using Clear for years, with lots of accumulated lists. This is a really bad delay trying to do pretty much anything. It makes using Clear painful.
If you create a new list, is it snappy inside that list? If your main lists are filled with tons of completed items, I would recommend scrolling all the way down and pulling to clear them away if possible.
What device are you on? Seems like iPhone X/XS generation that starts choking on lots of lists!
iPhone 16, which seems marginally faster than my previous iPhone 13.
New list – same slow behavior. It’s not completed items in my case. Most lists don’t have many items marked complete.
New items, moving items, deleting items, all have the same slowness. Marking an item complete doesn’t. “Uncompleting” an item does. Deleting an item does.
FYI I have lots of duplicated large lists in the Archive from the migration. “Well, delete them…” I can’t delete lists from the Archive that have more than 20-ish items, the app crashes.
