I am having issues with the firm press. I tried to move an item from one list to another and it didn’t work. Did I miss the removal of this or did I find a bug?

Yeah and also, just updated and 3d touch force press no longer goes back. Don’t see any notes in change log about the removal so maybe a bug… we have to use the less handy invisible back button for now… maybe a swipe down to go back gesture like old Clear would be better for my workflow if force press has been removed. Can’t wait for the newer version with customizable gestures to go back!

It’s there for me but not so much of a force press as it is a long press.

I think it is a two finger function now.
“Lift” the entry with one finger by holding longer. Continue to hold and with another finger, use the bottom back function.
Using the same second finger, navigate to the other list you want to use. Open it and the drop the entry into the newly opened list by releasing the first finger.
Holding on with the first finger is important in the process.

Sorry about the confusion here and late response. It turns out we accidentally disabled it in a recent update… to be honest with Apple having phased out the tech years ago it is probably time for this gesture to RIP.
I’m curious if anyone else was using this gesture, it would only work on 3D Touch supporting devices. If there are more of you out there we should probably consider some targeted onboarding popup / notice about this change.

I had no idea 3D Touch was phased out after the X on Apple. I’ve had my Xs since release.
As long as I can move items between lists, I won’t miss the how. It was a habit for me to use and adapting is fine with me, especially if current phones don’t use the feature.
And if no one else noticed yet there may be very few of us left with old models. An onboarding message could be helpful. I was glad to know that I could come here and ask about the change, but I tried checking version updates first just in case there was an answer.
