What archive? Where?
What archives and Where are the archives located?
If you back out twice from a list you should find the Archive there, along with Personalize etc.
I’ve not updated yet, and will hold off for now given the above. Phill, is this issue across the board, or do you have confirmation of any successful updates from existing users? Best of luck getting it sorted btw. Not what you needed.
Just opened the app (unaware there was an update), got excited when I swiped through a bunch of “new features!” screens, somehow found where my old lists were located, clicked on my shopping list to open it and add an entry, the screen turned bright blue and crashed. Now, every time I open the app, I get that same bright blue screen snd it instantly crashes.
So far we’ve identified 13 or 14 people with issues migrating data. We’re keeping track of each of you in a spreadsheet so we can follow through properly.
There must be more out there, but I am guessing most of the people panicking (rightly) are writing in. The new version has probably been installed/run by around 10-15,000 people so far. It feels like well under 1% affected but I understand if you want to hang tight a moment.
Ok among other things we are going to check crash logs in Xcode and see if we can find some leads there too. Let me know if the export log link I shared above circumvents the crash on launch or not as well.
For others on this thread, did you have what you might. describe as an insane amount of data in Clear? With the crashes here or there I’m wondering if there’s a performance bottleneck.
I’d just like to add that I LOVE your app, I use it every day, I’m not panicking (yet), this isn’t the end of the world, take your time, when it’s ready, it’s ready! Thanks for all your (I assume) hard work!
Thank you, I’m hopeful for now we can figure this out… though I am starting to have a feeling there may be a handful of different issues or cases to root out here. But we will start with crash logs and any logs anyone here is able to send our way.
Seemed to have lost my list count
Any one else have this problem
The same happened to me and now I cannot see any of my to do lists. Agreed with those who have been using Clear for years if not a decade — need this to get working as soon as possible pls.
Hi when will we receive the updates?
We will be trying to get you all a diagnostics TestFlight ‘beta’ build either later today or tomorrow.
I have been happily using Clear for years until today when without any warning, the new version was installed on my iPhone and now all my lists have disappeared. This was very important information I stored there. Will I ever be able to find these lists again?
I am in the same situation please support
Welcome to the club) I also got it. I have been using the program for many years.

Thanks Phill - all my lists are gone as well.
Lost everything here as well. The app updated and I deleted it since I was using the TestFlight version. When I opened the TestFlight version, everything was gone. Now I’m back to square one. Wow this really stinks. I put a lot of time into some of my lists. Clear user since May 3, 2012
When I downloaded new version on my old phone it copied the lists from the beta and seems to be working. Recently I got a new phone and beta didn’t copy onto that one so I was waiting till update came out. I was hoping that once I got it all upgraded on the old phone it would mirror that account on my new phone (which it had been previously) but it hasn’t. Any way I can get the updated clear with my beta lists onto my new phone after the fact?? I dont see an account screen anywhere
Hang tight, I don’t want to install false hope but for the moment, in MOST cases we have some confidence we can figure out something/recover the data. Do not delete the app (or beta if you are having data issues + still have it installed). We are keeping track of every single person who writes in here, twitter and email and will keep you posted.
Also for beta users, it is worth sanity checking the Archive in the release version of Clear. There have been two customers who thought they lost their beta lists, who found them in the Archive. (Because if new Clear detects two sets of list, one from old Clear, one from beta, it will throw the set that was used most recently in your lists, and the other set in the archive.)
