I think it’ll be a week or two before we start sync / Clear Web testing in the forums. Will be monitoring Clear Pro update’s release and handling some related support this week. If it goes reasonably smoothly our next project will be sync TestFlight.
Hey all, for those of you who helped test Clear Pro update on TestFlight, there appears to be a bug. On one hand, your membership status is transferring to the live app. Not intended and we will see if we can fix this soon in a patch.
More importantly this is suppressing the ‘shop customers’ popup for some free membership time. If you have purchased 5 or more collectibles from the shop, please send me an iMessage at phill@impending.com with an estimate of how many you bought and I will send your code there!
Hi Phil, can I apologize for the abrupt imessage I sent as I was just attaching screenshots of my purchases and accidentally sent without saying thanks or anything. Also I have switched from the TestFlight to pro, and it thanks me for subscribing but it doesnt seem to have taken any money and its not listed in my App Store subscriptions, but says thanks for being a subscriber
No worries. Yeah it seems to be transferring the membership status (with local data) from TF > App Store version which we will be debugging/trying to fix in the next update. I believe your promo code should apply as expected.
One more note for everyone on this thread, who helped us test.
It appears when updating to the App Store version from TestFlight, there are wires being crossed. If you’re in this state, please do not subscribe for now, we are trying to figure out a fix for next update. (Though if you are a shop customer, you can message me with how many you purchased for a promo code for free membership time, phill@impending.com)
In the meantime, you should actually have access to the Pro features.
(Tapping the ‘Thanks for being a subscriber’ row is bringing up the non legacy priced yearly option unexpectedly. If you did accidentally subscribe in this way and spent $29.99, you can email me about this and I will help try to help you switch things back to legacy / refund that purchase.)

Seems like a reminder that’s had its alarm off on the phone doesn’t match the one from the watch.
I had one to pay wages this morning and on the watch still shows 8am and on the iPhone it has a cross through it

The main thing being worked on in preparation for sync TF is now making sure it won’t mess things up if you swap back to a non sync App Store build while testing. Oh and we need to fix how TestFlight works with Clear Pro, to make sure wires don’t get crossed there going back to App Store builds.
So I think there is still a week or two of work on these things, but meanwhile we also really want to finish the Clear Pro rollout before starting sync testing.
That I’m also hopeful we wrap up more this month, but there are still some issues we are trying to figure out there! (Now down to ~3% of people having invalid app receipts, who in the 2.4.2 we are just going to give legacy status so no features are taken away, however, this receipt issue will also block them from actually subscribing… So need to then figure that out.)
