I will probably want to draft an email update for its release, and maybe send it to some tech sites. But I would expect it released by next week.
It’s definitely working well and I have managed to add new tasks but mainly with the dictation as keyboard is still cumbersome even on the Ultra bigger watch face.
Not sure why when trying to input a new task it comes up on the iPhone also.
If I wanted to use the iPhone I would just go directly.
Not sure if this is something that should be implemented?
Not useful for me anyway and a little annoying to get the pop up on the iPhone .
Let me know if the behavior persists with your phone locked, or just when it’s open. However I also found that in the iPhone Settings app > Notifications you can find a specific section for these notifications and disable them:
Looks like if on it will ask but I also carry another iPhone with same Apple ID and that had a notification also when off

The only bug now I see since the beta Pro testing update recently is that now my dictation is buggy
When trying to add something and use the dictation icon it won’t work unless I click the text field or scribble then back to dictation.
This isn’t using wifi but I am connected to my car Apple play wifi.
On cellular and I’ll check again when at home on wifi to see if makes any difference.
I prefer the dictation to quickly input
Ok with the setting turned off on the Apple Watch keyboard Allow Notifications to off ( as your picture )I no longer get the keyboard notifications on either device.
Also I turned the watch off then on and the dictation input if selected is working well in wifi or cellular.
I did have a crash on the watch after tapping and double tapping the left side on a task repeatedly but can’t replicate it
Just recently while typing a task on the watch, the task showed up twice when I had a stand up notification on the watch only, I checked the iPhone app and it was single task.
Ended up disappearing after about 15 seconds which is strange.
Sent the crash report to you.
Edit: re the doubled up text field I had when typing on the watch and a stand notification came up,
The text is smaller and when I tap the area on the main app on the iPhone it can increase then back to small text
It’s weird but but cool
Looking into this today, appreciate the detailed reports! (And got your crash log here, I emailed you a question but I think we are piecing it together.)
P.S. the small text is actually a feature, you can start an item with a space and it will format smaller. Or end an item with a : to format bigger. Should help moving forward that Clear Pro screen will explain this hidden feature.
Hey, just to clarify - restarting the Watch fixed the dictation issue you were experiencing? Having some difficulty replicating here, but will keep an eye on it!
I just pushed a new TestFlight build, here’s the notes:
Some fixes and polish for this Clear Pro update. This is a release candidate and will be submitted to the App Store, but held for release. So please report if you run into any issues!
- Widgets on tap will take you to Pro screen if not subscribed - Swipe to subscribe support with the rows - Added ‘Monthly Collectibles’ to Pro list (functionality was in already) - Simple onboarding on first run of Watch app while subscribed - Basic Watch complication icon is now colored - Fix for soft crash on duplicate items added from Watch - Fix for another soft crash that could happen when keyboard pops up
Will be preparing submission and sending it in for review later today. (Held for dev release, in case any issues pop up.)
If all goes well we plan to put this live on the App Store on Monday morning. Thank you all for helping us test this important release!
