Sync working well! Should reminder dates and times sync between iPhone, iPad, and Web?
Also, should Clear widget be working on lock screen and today view?

Iām still not getting fonts/icons/themes on the iPad app. Iāve signed out/back in of both apps. I deleted and reinstalled iPad app. If I purchase an icon on iPad I get it on iPhone too.

As a general update we are focused on fixing a couple things to start from initial feedback:
- A crash some users encountered
- Improve the first time sync experience (show status and completion on iPhone, and initial load in progress state for Clear Web)
Keep the reports and feedback coming everyone! They have been very helpful so far.
P.S. @rgspb we have a theory! TestFlight has its own IAP sandbox, so we think if you update to App Store version on iPad, restore should work? Then you could update there back to the beta.
So hereās what worked in the end. I installed App Store version on iPad and still had no icons or themes or fonts. Deleted the app altogether. Reinstalled App Store version and restored from latest iPhone backup. All my icons/themes/fonts showed up. Then installed the TestFlight aversion. Everything still showed up! All seems to be well!

Just installed it on my iPhone and iPad. So far so good. Iāll play around with clear today. I donāt seem to be getting that ghost task left in the browser version, it was probably fixed?

Yeah Iām SUPER pissed off with you guys. I supported you initially by buying your app which DID sync. And now you have ditched all your initial fans and supporters by making sync payable twice by offering only on the PRO subscription planā¦ Honestly thatās quite vile behaviour towards people. You should have kept these people on Sync. I donāt care what your small print says. Oh and another thing. I hope youāve tested your pricing. Because a 30 suits a year fo a todo app seems out of control to me. Any way, byyyeeee. Getting another to do app.

Thanks for helping test! Whatās your set up with the fonts? Do you have multiple iOS devices youāre testing with?
I think we should be re-enabling it in the next TestFlight build, though we need to investigate into how we can make it sync more āliveā in the background without opening the app.
I donāt want to directly engage with the poster earlier, but I will just note that syncing is a really costly project for us, and comes with ongoing server usage costs and work on multiple clients.
Clear 1.x as an indie business found itself in deep trouble because it didnāt properly account for this cost in what it charged.
For those reasons it really makes sense for it to be tied with subscription. I appreciate you all who are more understanding of this!

I have an iPhone and iPad (and browser version). Everytime I make a change on my list and it syncs to the other device, the font changes from Helvetica Light to San Francisco, even if I manually return it to Helvetica.
Another thing, maybe it was mentioned, but my clear widget stopped working and disappeared.

That poster earlier sounded really frustrated, if he left it wouldnāt be of much use to respond anyway imho. Iām soo impressed with your openness and communication since starting up clear again. Unfortunately I donāt have the time to help test, although Iām itching to. Iām not on Pro yet. Rest assured, I will pay once the sync is up and running reliably. In the meantime, if I win the lottery, I wonāt tell anybody ā¦ but there will be clear signs!

Wrapping up a next build/Clear Web update to better handle initial sync, and then we will look into this font syncing issue next week. I wonder if you could workaround it for now by setting the same font on each iOS device? Let me know there.

Yesterday when I should change to another folder on my iPad, so was Clear stopped!

New in build 9346:
- Initial sync progress popup toast on new installs
- Fix for crash while accessing UserData snapshot on a background thread
- Widgets are enabled, but require app to be opened for syncing
- Coalescing of watch and widget updates while sync is running
- Performance improvement while sync is running (freeing up MainThread from a heavy task)
- Limit sync background tasks to 50 (unlikely to reach)
- Fix a potential data race
- Other fixes - user ID in list metadata
Note to existing testers: you will see a syncing progress the first time running this build on each iOS device, this is expected!
@longshots not planned for the web client for the initial release but I would expect iOS clients to sync

Widget back and looking good on my iPhone 16 & on iPad. Dates not yet syncing with my iPad. Thanks for all the work done!

Thank you! I noticed in the Lock Screen widget that a quarter of the circle around the check mark is filled in. Does that mean something? I didnāt remember it from before.
