We are doing another phased release of 2.4.2, with some more fixes/diagnostics:
• Addresses users with no valid app receipt for legacy status check
• Added a line to Clear Pro listing non-legacy pricing to compare against, for legacy users
• Live calculation of pricing discount for Clear Pro yearly options
• Fixes ‘Members Only’ reward not unlocking if subscribed via promo code for loyal shop customers
We still think the ~3% or so of people who have invalid receipts, however they will now just automatically be given legacy status for now, to make sure nobody has any legacy features they were using, taken away from them.
Now we need to figure out how to actually let the affected people subscribe lol. But fingers crossed this release might be in an OK enough state to push out to everyone and go from there.

I updated to 2.4 but no longer see “legacy” on the app features. Is it normal? Still seem to access everything even without redeeming the code.
Yes, we thought it might be confusing the other way around… like if people subscribe and think only the ‘unlocked’ ones are active. Hopefully it is less confusing overall this way? But we can see on feedback.

Oh it actually makes sense this way. I just thought it might have been a bug, from the TestFlight issue.

I have to admit I haven’t been following the latest release that closely because I just want to keep on keepin’ on, if that makes sense. So I’m getting a bit lost among upgrades/not upgrades/pro/not pro/legacy/test flight/codes/no codes/automatics/message us if it didn’t works/regular/decaf…
Can we get a summary of what long time Clear users need to do to just keep using the Clear app we’ve been using basically the whole time?
If you have grabbed the latest version off App Store (2.4.2) you should be set.
The exceptions are: if you helped TestFlight Clear Pro, you should message me for promo code if you have purchased 5+ things from the shop.
And if you are unable to subscribe, you should contact us at help@impending.com, we are trying to verify this issue / debug, it should only affect roughly 3% of you who we are having issues verifying your app receipt.

I think this was a good change. I remember being confused when Clear Pro rolled out as to whether my Pro status was registering, or if it was just counting me as a Legacy user with access to only those features labeled as such. Based on other factors (e.g. I could install and use the Apple Watch app), I was able to determine that my status registered, but I think it’s better and clearer to do it this way.
This is a small detail, but I’d also like to add that I appreciate that the main Clear Pro information (everything above your 2019 photo) can be read on one screen without scrolling. I can see Clear Pro at the top and “Thanks for being a Legacy Clear Pro member!” at the bottom, without scrolling (at least that’s how it is on my iPhone 14 Pro, your mileage may vary.) I can’t say this with certainty, but I think I had to scroll a little to see everything before.
