I noticed today that my Apple Watch 10 Clear is not syncing with my iPhone 15 Pro Max Clear. The lists are different despite powering off both devices and verifying that all software is up to date. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi Mer, we’ve had just a couple users experience a similar issue. For both - archiving some lists and then unarchiving them seemed to trigger a proper sync again. Could you give that a try and let us know if it resolves the issue?
Hi Ben, that was the first thing I tried. It partially worked, but all lists still are not visible nor are they updating as they did before.
Hm, could I have you try disabling the Clear Watch app in your phone’s Watch app and then re-enabling it to see if that refreshes things? If the issue persists we can gather logs and see if there is additional info on the problem.
Hi @ben I have disabled the Clear Watch app and reinstalled multiple times. Now it says open the iPhone app to sync, however it does not sync or update my lists.
I’ve DM’d you a link to export us some logs - can I ask if you have any lists that are quite large (100+ items)?
Hi Ben, yes I do have a couple of +100 lists. I’ll forward the log shortly.
Ah I see, the extra large lists are likely causing issues when syncing with Watch. Depending on the Watch and phone models, the amount of data the Watch can display is pretty variable. Is there any way you can reduce the size of some of the lists, or re-arrange some of the data into new lists to reduce the overall list size?
Hi @Ben , I just reduced my lists, deleted Clear off my watch and reinstalled. Still no lists, it says open the iPhone app to sync with Clear Watch. Any suggestions?
Hey, apologies that you’re experiencing so many hiccups here! Could you try force-quitting Clear on your phone and re-opening, and also keeping Clear Watch open on the Watch for some time? The archiving and un-archiving a few lists may also work here. Let me know if these don’t end up working.
Hi Ben, a few lists are showing up on the watch after following your steps, but not all of them, and all lists are now below 100.
Ok, thanks for running through those steps. If you could send in updated logs after having reduced the list sizes using the same link I DM’d you - we’ll take a deeper look here and get back to you.
Thanks Ben - Just sent the logs.
