When inputting a day of the week I.e. Saturday on a to-do it disappears and sets and alarm when I want to keep the text and don’t use the alarm functionality at all.
This has become extremely frustrating for an app I love because of its simplicity. Yes, yes, I know … I could press the day of the week to unselect it but that has been causing the text to then disappear. I find myself spending way too much time trying to get a version of my text in there without setting a reminder
Came here just for this frustration. I just want to be able to put in a date or a time in plain text and not have it turn it into an alarm every single time. This function needs to be toggleable or disabled entirely.
Same issue for me, I like inputing times in plain text
It’s clearly broken as of this last update, but how it worked before where you just tap the underline to disable it seemed fine to me, someone who never even uses reminders.
I’m having same frustration. It was fixed previously and now it’s back. I really hope this gets changed
Hang tight! We should have a next build out later today that will make this feature opt-in when recognized. (E.g. tap the underline to activate a reminder/custom behavior.)
It also happens that when you deselect “Saturday” to prevent reminder and add date for, say, Friday in the same line at any time, the reminder on Friday doesn’t activate at all. For example, I want to make a reminder on Friday at 11pm that says: get ready for something something this Saturday (or tomorrow), I deselect/deactivate Saturday and NONE of those two work, neither Friday ar 11pm nor Saturday… I think that it would be great to put back classic date/time picker and totally remove NLP if possible. NLP is fun, I must say, but it kinda doesn’t work here. Or if there is a fix for this, I want it to stay.
