When are you realising the app update with Liquid Glass on the App Store? Right now, if I use the beta, I can’t sync it with my iPad or the web (though I’m on an active subscription), and if I use the App Store version, it uses the old contextual menus and keyboard.
A small suggestion, can you try to use shading, contrasting color, or any container to the UI above the keyboard? It’s tough to see with lighter themes, as shown below.
What beta were you on? I think you should get back on the App Store branch, we haven’t been doing more active TF builds lately.
The keyboard extension seems buggy, it should definitely not be transparent like that.
Will take a look at the Liquid Glass keyboard – we had right before iOS update launch but it was causing issues with the toolbar at the time. And we wanted to let the glass design stuff settle a bit before diving in (Apple was still making active bug fixes and such). But I imagine it’s more stable now so I’m curious to check it out.
Honestly, I believe I was using version 100.0.0 (9378), due only to the keyboard. Since this morning, I’ve switched to the App Store version, but I’m still missing the keyboard.
Thanks for the reply, and for taking a look into it.
Thank you for posting these videos, we’re looking into the bug today. Maybe something as simple as we forgot to test in light mode, but could be something more involved.
Ok yeah we figured out what was going on here, it’s the glass effect not playing well with bright/light colored themes. @harshad added a translucent black overlay that seems to address this, we should submit a fix soon.
