Hi @phillryu - I am checking in to see if it would be possible for you to provide us with an estimated timeframe roadmap for future release features & TestFlight updates?
I really appreciate all of the hard work you and your team have put into Clear, and am eager to be able to improve my productivity with access to my Clear lists over a bigger screen like my iPad or Mac.Thanks
I think we are down to a couple todos to get to initial alpha testing sync in the forums. There is a crash that is being fixed, and batch drag needs to be supported. So it feels kind of close but the last bit has been stretching.
2.3 should be out by next week.
SPOTLIGHT SEARCH
Clear now integrates with system Spotlight search, so you can search across your lists. (Access it on your Home Screen by pulling down.)
HOTKEYS
Clear now supports some hotkeys on hardware keyboards, including iPhone mirroring. Type to add, escape to back out, or try Option + 1-9 to quickly switch between your first 9 lists.
Also some fixes:
Reminders set via language recognition will delete the text after
Fixed a small bug in the welcome quests
Fixed widgets not displaying with tinted home screens
Not planning on changing the animations back. What are you referencing with reminders? If itās the accidental tap we were looking at that, but I donāt feel conclusive enough to just make it a delayed tap action right now, that would cause some issues on its own.
Regarding reminders specifically, I personally donāt even use them, but I stumble upon them every time Iām editing an item. Every. Single. Time. And it has been even more disrupting that the animations to my workflow.
In my case, an option to disable reminders altogether would make the app at least halfway usable again. Right now, I stopped using it, because between the animations and this, it has been wasting more time than it saves me.
Itās a very specific and small tap target in the top right of the row. If you are experiencing what you are describing, basically every time you try to edit, either there is a bug Iām unaware of or maybe you have a very specific habit of double tapping at the top right of a row to edit?
Iām using an iPhone 13 mini. Maybe that has something to do with it? My natural target for āI wanna move my cursor aroundā overlaps with the invisible button 95% of the time. It makes editing stuff quickly basically impossible.
I will sanity check this next week, if itās possible on mini the tap target for the box is proportionally different. It is an interesting theory and if it happens to be onto something, very helpful.
Btw! I dunno if youāre aware of the āhold on spacebar and use it as a trackpadā thing, but itās a useful one for moving the cursor when editing.
Oh, I use it all the time on non-Clear apps. Itās just that the font size on Clear is big enough that itās faster for me to just tap wherever I want the cursor to go. I consider it a nice perk.
