Hey !
Wonder if anyone has noticed forward slash and backward slash appear opposite to what you press on the keyboard when in the clear app

I’m not seeing that behavior on my iPhone XS.
Yes, with certain fonts. Change the font and it should look normal
Interesting! I’m using the standard default keyboard font on my iPhone 15 Pro. Never changed the font or keyboard and don’t think I’ve even got any others. I’d expect the default keyboard font to be as standard as it gets rather than going the opposite in Clear to what I press in the keyboard for the backslash and forward slash PS / and \ appear the correct way round here with the same font and keyboard
Ah - now I understand ! Sorry - was being slow. Yes it is linked to the Clear font selected in the personalisation. The one that has the slashes the wrong way round is Wavepool
Yes! Same here. Did you see this @phillryu ?
Are you using one of the custom fonts? It seems like this issue might come with our collection of more eccentric and indie artist fonts vs. some bug in the app. Wonder if it’s some different languages/countries that flip them around or something.
It came to my attention when using the Wavepool font on a custom personalised list. My standard font in Clear is San Francisco Rounded. Never saw this before, even when messing with other fonts. I’m based in the Netherlands. My iPhone is set to English language in main settings, although I do have a Dutch keyboard active and I do type in Dutch as well. (Although nowadays in iOs 18.2 there’s no need to switch anymore, it would seem the keyboard is bi-lingual, there’s a little NL EN sign on my space bar) Would you like me to provide more detalis or investigate further?
Wavepool for me to. Phone is all UK English settings.
Got it, I assume it wasn’t happening in SF Rounded? And just showing up with Wavepool? If so I think that does point towards it being a font specific issue.
