Music stops playing when triggering sounds in app

If I’m listening to music using my iPhones Music or Podcasts app any time I do an action in the clear app that makes a sound my music stops playing

Muting sounds prevents this from happening though so that’s cool

Same thing happens to me when I am using CarPlay.

Yes, same here and I mute sounds right now to get around it but would much prefer the sounds just overlay on top of the music/podcast/background audio. Other apps are able to do that just fine.

Thanks for reporting this. We are tracking this issue closely, although it’s been difficult for us to reproduce.

We are hoping to do a bug and performance pass next week and fingers crossed, fix this.
