Monthly Themes within Pro

Hi team - I’m not sure if I have understood Monthly Themes in Pro correctly? Essentially it will give me an option to purchase items from the shop - but these items will only ever be available to Pro users. So the benefit for a Pro user is the opportunity to purchase stuff that non-Pro users cannot?

If you go to either Themes or Icons, scroll all the way to the bottom of the list. There’s a section titled “Pro Monthly” with extra icons and themes you can use.

I don’t know what the system is for them (For example, do we keep them? If we’re using one, does it automatically switch to something else if different items get put in there? Does it update on the first of each month? Do we have the option of buying them for cheaper at the end of the “trial period” / month, if that’s what it is?), but I did stumble across this the other day.

Relatedly, I currently see three themes (Ocean Shallows, Atlantis, Welcome to Miami) and two icons (Private Island, Sushi Roll). I’m wondering what else might be in there that I have already purchased.

Hey there, this is likely because you already own the collectibles that are on selection for the month and they exist in your list of Personal Collectibles. We’re looking into making this more obvious for users.

For Pro subscribers, these are meant to be a free new rotation over each month to try out, and will persist after the month closes so long as you do not manually switch them. They are also currently offered in the Shop at a discounted price for permanent unlock.

@ben The monthly pro section of the store seems to be all the same price as the usual goodies, not seeing any discounts here.

I’m not seeing any discount either - they are all priced the same as other regular rotating shop items.

Hm, the Monthly Pro Sale prices seem to display properly at $1.99 here - the items being discounted this month include Ocean Shallows, Ocean Depths etc.

If possible could one of you screen grab your prices?

Thanks for the grab - we’ve had some other issues with Apple’s auto-conversion and will look into it.

Could I ask what country specifically - if you’d like to avoid sharing on a public forum you can use the Support feature in Clear to connect with us directly.

This is probably definitely a mistake, as I have everything displayed properly, but only I bought it a long time ago, and my store looks something like this every day.

Display on the screenshot, 1. Regular price, 2. Discounted price.

Same issue in The Netherlands, all items in the shop (including the monthly pro sale items) are € 1,99

Clear Pro costs:

€ 29,99 per year
€ 2,99 per month

Is there any time constraint to make use of the free Clear membership time to shop customers who supported Clear development?

Sale pricing in the reported regions (UK and Netherlands so far) have been manually adjusted and should properly be 33% off.

The Clear Pro euro pricing seems to be due to Apple’s price tiering and it adding VAT to EU prices. We’re looking to live calculate this in a coming update as a fix!

I believe the promo codes expire in August 2025, unfortunately that was the latest option we were given on Apple’s end.
