Is the invisible back button gone? Probably the feature I liked the most and I can’t find a way to re-enable it. On larger phones (iPhone 15 Pro Max here) swiping the left edge or hitting a back button on the left bottom corner is too difficult to reach when using right handed.
Also, there are several themes, and icons I know I had access to in the past that I can no longer use because they’re marked “Pro,” there may be some fonts too but it’s hard to know when I was always just grabbing any free font I could from the shop. Everything marked “Pro” in the below screenshots was once attached to my account and usable before the Pro subscription was implemented.
Hi @jaxson - I’ve sent you a forum DM with a link to collect some log files. We’re aware of the issue impacting some users and are looking into it!
As for the gesture changes, since the new Clear launched we’ve heard a lot of requests for edge-swipe to return and for basic things like navigation and adding items to be made easier to pick up.
For now, if you head to the Settings you can turn on “Enable Pull to Back” which will allow you to pull down as before to navigate back which may help a little bit with the larger phones. I’ll definitely note down your feedback for the team and let us know if it feels any better after a few days or if it continues to be an issue.
Just sent those over, may have sent twice from two different emails, just so you know.
As for the navigation issue, pull to back is definitely easier than the other currently available options on the larger phones but it’s not fast and it’s too easy to not pull far enough and end up adding a thought instead. I’d really, really like to see the invisible back button come back, even if it’s just a toggle in the settings like pull to back is. It was a simple and fast way to back out of lists, easily reachable on any phone size, and without any other similar interactions to accidentally trigger. Truly one of my favorite features of Clear, so much so I wish it was universal on every iPhone app. I’m sad to see it gone, especially with the years of muscle memory I’ve built up using it in Clear.
