Issues while moving items between lists

I’ve had this issue multiple times: When trying to move multiple items from one list to another, I’m getting “stuck” in a list (usually after I auto-entered by hovering the selected items over the list name).

By “stuck,” I mean gestures are not working to go back to the Lists view (pinch/tapping above the home bar). So I have to drop the items in that list and restart the process…

Anyone else had this issue?

iPhone 16 pro
iOS 18.5
Clear v2.4.5 (but I also had the issue on the previous version)

Hey there, been trying to replicate this on a test device with the same OS and Clear versions but am having difficulty reproducing it. If there are any other users that have encountered the same issue please let us know! Along with any other details you can think of when it occurs.

I used to be a long time user. I just came back to Clear on an iPhone 15 with the latest software. I can’t get to settings or other lists. Every time I hit the ‘invisible button’ the keyboard pops up.

Help!

You can pinch. Then you can go into Settings and turn on the (now optional) invisible back button.

As @Juxto kindly pointed out there are a few alternative ways to navigate in Clear:

  1. The “invisible” back button found just above your home-bar at the bottom of the screen. This is set to fade from fully visible to invisible over repeated use
  2. Pinching-in will navigate you back one level
  3. A hard pull-down towards the bottom of a list or menu will also pull you back out one level
