New version uploaded. You should see an update pill on the top right for those on the beta version.
Notes:
We have now hidden the right scroll bar, making the interface much cleaner.
The check box on your left will be centered within the task, even if it is multi-line.
The app will now remember your window size and position for each display, so you can seamlessly switch between your laptop display and your wide screen and maintain the same sizes you configured.
We looked at the diagnostic logs and realized that you are running the application not from the applications folder but somewhere else, and because of that, macOS is preventing you from executing certain commands. In this case, the updater cannot replace the executable because the folder where the executable runs is not accessible to it.
I will respond with a DMG package that, if you run it, will open a step to drag it to the Applications folder. Please do that, and that might help.
To double-check all these things, we will also provide you with another script to run and see if this is the exact scenario.
The fact that nobody else has raised this issue and has silently updated to the latest version is also an indicator. Otherwise, we would have been flooded with messages here.
Am I missing something? I have been using and paying yearly for the app in the appstore and gave up the beta a long time ago. Should I be using a version from Testflight again?
Right now, you can do drag and drop, but not across the lists. At every task, look at the rightmost side. You’ll see the four dots that you can drag up and down.
Dragging across lists is a massive amount of work due to the data integrity and sync functionality involved, so it might take a bit of time to get there.
Gestures are a bit complicated to get right on a desktop with a tiny team right now. We have added this to the roadmap. We have some releases coming out soon, and once they’re out, we’ll look into this.
