# App not working like it should

I just downloaded the Clear app and it seems to only give me the red/orange list. My coworker can make multiple list groups and also has a green/blue design option. Can anyone tell me how to access additional lists?

Hello, it sounds like you’re on the onboarding steps for a fresh Clear install. You should see a small task list in the bottom right of your screen beginning with “Create 3 items”. After a couple simple steps it will guide you to navigate back a Menu, at which point the app will fully open up and you’ll be able to create lists as you’d like!

Thanks Ben! I do see that box at the bottom. However, I can’t click on them. How do I get to the simple steps?

No need to tap on the small onboarding list, it’s just a visual checklist of starting tasks! To progress through it you’ll need to start by creating new items by tapping anywhere in the empty list. After that you should get the next task which will be to “complete” items by swiping right on them.

Ah, gotcha. So that’s working nicely. But how can I create a new category list? So let’s say I have a personal list which I can add to and remove when complete, but I also want a work list, gorcery list, etc.?

Great! When you are in your “My Lists” menu, you can create new lists with any titles you’d like, the same way you create items within the lists. You can then tap into whichever lists you’d like to work on, and return with the back button.

I don’t see a visible menu anywhere.
